Install Anchr Tools
Anchr Tools is an Adobe Illustrator extension. Installation takes about two minutes.
Requirements
- Adobe Illustrator 2023 or newer (Creative Cloud)
- macOS 12 or newer, or Windows 10 or newer
- An internet connection to activate
1. Start your trial
The extension is available to customers with a running trial or subscription.
Already a customer? Open your account to download version 0.1.6.
2. Install the package
Once downloaded, install the file with a free ZXP installer, not by double clicking it. We recommend ZXP Installer by aescripts + aeplugins. Anastasiy's Extension Manager works as well.
- Open the installer.
- Drag the downloaded file into it.
- Wait for the confirmation.
3. Open the panel
Restart Illustrator, then open Window > Extensions > Anchr Tools.
4. Activate
Paste the licence key you received by email when your trial started. Your keys are always available from your account page.
5. Start with a brand
Open a brand's file and take the tools in the order of a project: Anchr Grid for the construction grid and clear space, Anchr Guide for the guidelines, Anchr Deck for the presentation, Anchr Ship for the exports, and Anchr Portal to publish it all as one link.
Troubleshooting
- The panel does not appear. Check that Illustrator is 2023 or newer, reinstall the ZXP, then restart Illustrator.
- The installer says the certificate is not trusted. The package is signed with Anchr's own certificate rather than one issued by Adobe. Accept and continue.
