Anchr Deck

A bento layout
in one click.

Draw a rectangle, choose Simple, Centered, Brick or Random, set the number of sections, the corner radius and the gutter. Anchr Deck fills the rectangle with rounded cells ready to hold your logo, colours and type.

Start your 7 day trialSee how it works

Four layouts, three sliders.

Enough control to make it yours, few enough controls to make it in a minute.

Simple, Centered, Brick

Simple divides the space evenly. Centered gives the middle cell the room for the hero. Brick staggers the rows so no two columns line up.

Random

Picks a layout and randomises the three sliders. Click it until something looks right, then shuffle from there.

Sections, corners, gutter

From 3 to 12 cells, a corner radius from 1 to 500 pixels, a gutter from 1 to 200 pixels. Shuffle keeps the settings and tries another arrangement.

How it works.

  1. Draw the base rectangle

Any size, any fill. The cells inherit the rectangle's fill, so a lime rectangle gives lime cells.

  2. Pick a layout and set the sliders

The cells appear on a Bento Grid layer as rounded rectangles, above the base.

  3. Shuffle until it fits

Same settings, different arrangement, as many times as you like.

  4. Finalize

The cells move to a Bento Grid (Finalized) layer, the hidden base rectangle is removed, and you drop the logomark, a swatch, a type specimen and a mockup into the cells.

What you get.

Questions designers ask.

Where does a bento layout go in a brand project?
The presentation page of the guidelines, the case study on Behance or Dribbble, the reveal you send with the delivery, the first post of the client's new feed. One layout, several sizes, a single visual language.
Can I change the layout after Finalize?
Finalized cells are ordinary rounded rectangles: resize or recolour them like any shape, or draw a new base rectangle and generate again.
Do the cells keep my colour?
Yes. Every cell takes the fill of the base rectangle. Recolour cells afterwards to build the palette page.
Can I export it?
Like any artwork: export the artboard, place it in the guidelines from Anchr Guide, or attach it to the brand portal as a file.
Then ship it as a link

Everything you make here goes on the brand portal your client actually opens.

Colours, type, logo files and usage rules, published from Illustrator to one hosted page. No PDF, no attachment, always the current version.

Lay it out, then ship it.
